Crescendo, The Tampa Bay Women's Chorus

Welcome. We are Crescendo: The Tampa Bay Women’s Chorus. Founded in 1991, Crescendo is a chorus of volunteer singing members and support staff who sing in an effort to embrace diversity in our community and bridge the gaps that are caused by prejudices. Made up of women who represent a variety of ages, ethnic heritages, religious affiliations, political beliefs, and sexual identities, we embrace all of our sisters who wish to sing. Believing that music can help heal the world, we sing with a common purpose. We sing to lift up our communities. We sing, sing, sing. Feel free to take a look at some of our past performance programs.

The members of Crescendo invite your support and participation as we hold two major performances a year and make various community appearances throughout the year. You can find our schedule of upcoming performances on our Calendar page. We welcome the opportunity to sing at your next community event, and as a non-profit organization, we rely on your donations to our organization. We can work together to bring uplifting musical messages to the Tampa Bay area and beyond.

Of course, Crescendo is an ever-evolving group that holds auditions for new voices throughout the year. The ability to read music is not required but a simple audition process is held to check ability to match pitch and learn music. New voices are always exciting.
